New Blog and my 1,000 Follower Giveaway

A few nights ago, I hit my 1,000 follower milestone on tumblr. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic. All my friends think I'm crazy because it's all I can talk about. It's an absolutely incredible feeling. With that, I've decided it's time to start a "big girl" blog here on Blogger. While tumblr will still be my favorite blogging platform, I often feel that I want to say too much for such a picture-oriented blogging site. So, I'll be using this blog to talk as much as I want! And to kick off this blog, I'll be hosting a giveaway via Rafflecopter.

I have purchased 5 Hex Nail Jewelry nail charms, and I'm so excited about them! I'll be giving away the "lips", "unicorn", "money", "fuck you", and "petite heart links" nail charms. Hopefully there's something in that random collection that you'll love. I thought these charms would make the perfect prize - reusable, fashionable, and a great addition to any nail art stash. Upon my purchase, I received a note concerning application and removal from Hex Nail Jewelry, and it is as follows:
[...] Most of our charms come curved however there are those that may lay flat. Each charm works differently depending on your nail, and the size of the charm. If the charm doesn't lay nicely on one nail, its always a good idea to try on another. Some of our charms can be easily bent while other may require more work. You can still stick nicely, but the flatter they are on your nail the less chance there is of getting snags and losing them. Applying charms: We typically apply the charms once we've added our top coat. When they are dry we apply nail glue by either brushing it onto the area or applying a drop of it. Adding a second top coat isn't necessary but can be done if need be. You can also apply these bad boys with your Gel mani's. They work amazingly & can last up to 2 weeks! However because of the process you will need to remove with acetone which means it'll wear faster. Removing: When your ready for a new look remove your charms by simply picking them off. There will most likely be some residual nail polish/glue. To make the cleaning process easier soak them in warm/hot water for a minute or so. Please avoid using acetone, as it will wear off the plating faster. Hexoxo B&M
A photo of the actual charms is below. (I also purchased two of these charms for myself, so I'll be making a post about those soon!)

I'm really excited about this giveaway, and I'm hoping all of you are too. It will start on April 1st, and last for 2 weeks. One winner will be selected randomly and contacted around that time (depending on how busy school is at that point), and will have 72 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen. (Full terms and conditions are listed in the giveaway widget.) Best of luck to everyone, and thank you for all the love I've received. <3
